My good friend Elizabeth and I have decided to team up again for a new blog post, in which we take you on a tour of our work desks, to show you how we stay organized and inspired. My post is coming one day earlier than you’re used to, and with slightly different content, but I’m confident you’ll gain some great organizational tips for the start of the school year.
Elizabeth is the queen of organizational efficiency, and I’m certain you’ll think twice about how you utilize your music stands after watching her video. As for me, I’m excited for you to see how I use the Blotter App to keep on top of my to do list, as well as how convenient my timer cube is for keeping me on track during the workday.
I’d love to see a tour of your desk as well, so please join in the fun by linking up at the bottom of this post. Also, don’t hesitate to leave any questions you have here in the comments section or in the comments section on Youtube.

The sound in your video is fantastic! Makes me want a microphone of my own, because why not?
Thanks! I'm still working on the guitar/voice balance, but I really liked how the audio turned out in the video. You should! You could start an anonymous podcast on the inner workings of a library 🙂 The Good, The Bad, and the Moldy…hehe.
Love it! You are so much more tech-savvy than I, even without B's help 🙂 I love how minimalist and clean your work space is- so calming.
Thanks 🙂 Messes/distractions get on my nerves, especially when I'm working…B can attest to this 😉
Is there something similar to your on-screen stationery blotter in Windows format? Also, what us the thing that's holding your phone? Thanks so much.
Honestly, I don't know what's available for Windows. Your best bet is to Google what you want and watch reviews of the different apps on Youtube. That's how I found the Blotter app. There's so much to choose from, it can be overwhelming! The thing that holds my phone is called Grip Grass, and I found it at Staples. I have a link to that and the rest of the things I showed in the description box of my video 🙂 I hope that helps!
