This interactive lesson introduces students in grades K–8 to musical texture through real-life sounds, pictures, and videos. Students hear texture in audio examples, feel it by singing and playing along, see it in everyday videos, and compare it with its musical opposite. A short quiz before and after the lesson shows what they learned.

Important

    This resource is absolutely wonderful. Lots of embedded audio. Lots of examples for the students to listen to. For Google users, this pptx will not convert to a Google slide. Must be shown in Powerpoint.
