This guided composition activity is designed for students who’ve studied the pentatonic scale (d,r,m,s,l). Students are guided through vocal explorations as a warm-up. Then, they sing Solfége Syllable patterns using the pentatonic scale. Finally, they use four-beat patterns to arrange their own pentatonic composition.
