Moving and Composing with Tania León – music composition – listening lesson

This lesson introduces students in grades K–5 to the composer Tania León and her piece “Alegre.” Students move to the steady beat, learn to hear and identify syncopation, follow a listening map, and then create their own composition using syncopation.
