This guided lesson teaches students in grades K–5 to play a simple bordun on Orff instruments with the song “One Cold and Frosty Morning.” Students warm up their voices and mallets, act out the song, learn to find high and low bars, and then sing and play the song together.

    Students really liked learning to play the mallet instruments with this resource. I really like the look and design of your resources. Easy to understand and follow. Makes logical sense for the students. Love seeing your orff resources. I’d love to see some songs created with multiple parts! It’s hard to create/arrange them but your resources are so clean and easy to understand, I’m sure the students would enjoy them! (I’m struggling with that right now)
