Basics of Syncopation is an all-in-one interactive music lesson which guides students through the sights, sounds, and feel of syncopation in music. This PowerPoint slideshow uses real-life images, video, and play-along audio to keep elementary students meaningfully engaged with syncopation. This presentation focuses on the syncopated rhythm of an eighth + quarter + eighth (syn-co-pa).
