It’s time once again for a small goals linky party, where I write about my small goals for the month and reflect on goals of the past. It seemed not long ago that I was helping my husband put in his grandmother’s air-conditioner in her window for the summer, yet there we were yesterday taking it out again in preparation for winter. Time flies folks, and nothing proves it so much as clicking the thermostat over to heat.
My goals for the month of November are not really small, but I’m going to pretend that they are in the hopes that I manage to accomplish all of them. But first coffee, also, let’s get started with my goals from last month
Do NOT spray hair texturizer in my eye <–so happy about that
Cook at least one meal that requires the stovetop <–our island makes this easier
Play the piano <–it was played when I dusted it
Drink a caramel apple cider <–no resisting this one
Burn a candle <–and I’m getting ready to light one now
I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this one on here yet, but I’m getting a new blog design this month! When it’s all finished, I hope that you’ll enjoy the new look and be able to find what you need more easily. The redesign is one reason why I won’t be writing as many posts this month, as I have a LOT of decisions to make. And considering my perfectionist tendencies, I’ll be spending loads of time with those decisions.
My store is steadily growing and with that comes the need for upgrades. I have a few products that need revisions, and it’s important to me that I consider buyer feedback during this process. So, along with working on my new products, I’ll be going back over a few old ones in need of a fresh upgrade. This is another reason why I won’t be able to publish as many posts this month. Well, that and the fact that I’ll be spending a lot more time with my husband (who’s trying to use up vacation days) and with the rest of my family, enjoying loads of food and togetherness. As much as I love writing blog posts for you, my family (and often times food) comes first.
Want to be writing buddies with me? I sure hope so, because I need someone to push me to write at least 1,667 words every day. Nanowrimo is a yearly event in which people from all over the world challenge themselves to write a novel in one month. You don’t need to be a professional writer (I mean, look at me.) All you need is the desire to write and have fun. You can learn more about it HERE, and while you’re there, be sure to add me (hibbard.jenn) as a writing buddy!
My husband and I recently signed up for a ballroom dance class (I know, it surprised me too). We’ve only had one lesson so far, but it was a lot of fun and a great workout. There are times in my life when I feel a bit awkward because of my height, so it’s nice to remind myself that I’m not. Now if I could just learn to stop leading.
That’s it for my November goals. How about you? What small goals do you hope to accomplish this month? I’d love to hear all about them, so be sure to read the directions below and link up!
