Composing with Rhythms is a bundle of guided composition activities. Students will practice performing and reading rhythms via body percussion, the poison pattern game, and iconic and standard notation. Then, students will use the printable manipulatives to help them compose their own rhythms using half notes, quarter notes, eighth notes, sixteenth notes, quarter rests, and syncopation. They’ll write down their finished pieces using the worksheets included.
